View Full Version : Hopefully Joining The Club Soon
Hi guys, just found this site through a link on SNet. Seems to look pretty fresh around here, am i right in thinking this place has only recently been conceived?
Anyway, i get on a plane tomorrow which is going to fly me 650 miles to see a V4 STi RA and with any luck i'll be driving the car home. So just thought i'd stick my head in the door and say hi. ;)

Hello, no the fridge was sold last June as i did the sensible thing and stepped onto the property ladder. Been running a Cav Turbo since then which i hope to keep alongside the RA.
Some may recognise my last Scooby, i don't think the RA will ever look as nice but it'll more than make up for it in other departments. 8)

And here's what i've been running around in. I founded the CTOR (http://www.cavalierturbo.com) so have good reason to keep it.

Steve, thanks for the offer but i'm rather hoping it will be a flying visit. Hundreds of emails have been bounced between myself and the vendor not to mention an RAC inspection which was carried out on Thursday. If the car isn't what it's cracked up to be then i'm in trouble as i only have a one way ticket!
See my brilliant web hosts are up to their normal tricks.

We are all newbies here matey :D - we've only been live for a couple of months.
It'll be great if we can make the site a great place for people to find info on the RAs. Maybe even plan some RA days & get togethers!!

Eventually got home last night at 01:30 after leaving at 05:00 that morning! Car was as expected and the seller an absolute gent so no problems what so ever on that front. Weather on the way home was a different matter altogether... sheet rain and blizzards which got particularly bad (snow lying) for the final 50 miles when i was most tired - good DCCD pratice though.
I've been behaving.... honest! :P
