i have put the type ra site address in my signature on other scoobie sites as a way to promote this site, it seems that a lot of people here found this site from links on other sites so i thought that it would be a good way to spread the word.

I've asked a mate who runs a sign comapany about this.
I've done the logo as an eps - just need to clean it up a tad & he'll sort them out for us.
Dunno what he'll charge as yet.
I'll stick some info up once he gets back to me.

You can put me down for a couple, what are the dimmensions ?
I actually collect stickers & have done since leaving school, some 30yrs or more, just boxed not stuck anywhere.
I have thousands from all over the place, mostly centered around motorsport & motorcycle racing.
Your Type RA .co.uk looks the biz.....less is more

Thanks matey :D
It's a vector graphic, which means it's completely scaleable - I need to straighten out the scabby edges & see how the finished logo looks however.
I've got a couple more ideas to put forward - maybe a vote is in order?

Will these come as precuted logo, or is it the whole sticker with background? If you understand what i mean?

Andy,
Here is a test one on the back of a car.
http://www.type-ra.co.uk/photos/sticker.jpg
As you can see there is no background.
I had to tweak the "Type" font to have it cut but with a bit more work it should be OK.
I also need to fatten the text so it's more readable.

The size is 300mm wide - can't remember the height.
I still need to work on it but I can scale it to any size you like.
AndyGT
They can be made in almost any colour you like!
I've got 3 on the car now - off on a track day tomorrow so needed to get some free publicity for the site
I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Cheers matey.
The guy who did the test ones wanted £10 each
I can send you the .ai file if you like, but I still need to convert the "type" text to shapes for use with a plotter(?) - sorry I'm not used to vinyl cutting speak

It's quite a bit bigger than that one.
You can see it on my rear side window here http://www.type-ra.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=163
It can be scaled to any size however, so if you wanted it smaller or bigger it's possible.

Hi Dean
My MY93 RA has white foglight covers with black STI stickers on them, as mine is not an STI, I would like to have something a little more relevant on each of the covers.
Whilst producing your/our new logo, would there be an opportunity here to have some made for this facility, as I'm sure there may be other guy's outhere that may be intersted in doing the similar.
I look forward to your response

I'm playing with the logo now Phil.
I'll post some versions up as I get the inspiration......
Which will probably take some time
Do you have anything specific in mind?

Dean
I'm not very good with cutting & pasting stuff, so cannot help in creating an example.
Otherwise to have the type-ra.co.uk decals for the spotlamp covers, it would need to be something that can be centered to fit & not look out of place.
As most folks would expect the text to be Sti based as normal, but when close it clearly shows the sites web-address...
What do you think ?

dean,
i'd quite fancy some of the stickers you have on your rear window from your pic earlier on this page
nowt wrong with those - that size seems about right to me :D
what side of the window is it stuck on (ie inside the window or outside)?
imy
I'd still be up for a set for the car. Any updates?

HI M8s!
I'd be glad to promote type-ra.co.uk on my new dating site.
I am the administrator (and owner) so it would not be a problem.
Just please send me a banner via email.
(NO this is NOT a place for my site's advertisement)
I'm simply glad to help this site in any way, keep up the good work guys!

Imy,
They look a little weedy at present - I need to sort the font out.
They are on the outside of both windows.
Carpboy has made mention of having them printed since my man wants £10 each
I'm also thinking of a rear bumper sticker & sunstrip, but the logo would not work there.
All thoughts/ideas gratefully recieved.

What about spot light cover logo's....

What about spot light cover logo's....
Phil,
I've got a different logo which is a bit more balanced for the front fogs.
The problem I'm having is the different covers on the different MYs.
The earlier ones are flatter & harder to make fit.
I did wonder about using this http://www.type-ra.co.uk/images/fog_logo.gif
What do you reckon?

Hi Dean
Did you manage to get anywhere with your decal's, as I'm still as mentioned above wanting to remove the usual STI stickers from my spot covers, and hopefully apply a more relevent logo like your Type RA

I did Phil!
I now have access to a vinyl cutter, so hopefully I'll have them done within a week or so.
I was gonna put a post on here to gather feedback on how big/where to put them etc.

OK.
I was thinking of white at first since black will not show up on windows, but now you've got me thinking body as well as glass 8)
Here's a pic of the window stickers I did earlier this year
http://www.type-ra.co.uk/mine/track.jpg
I reckon the stickers in black would work on the fog covers as you suggest.
