Hello peoples.
I am from Western Australia and stumbled across this site.
I am in the process of building a tarmac rally car from a v5 sti ra ltd. I dont have the build number as some hero in Japan obviously needed it more than me. Is there a number anywhere else apart from in front of the gear lever?
I am chasing some help on the following.
Has anyone translated the original sales brochure into english?
Is it possible to get an owners manual in English?
Does anyone know what the car weighs?
Thanks
Brendon

welcome to type RA, as you probably guessed its a relatively new site with more joining daily
I am a newbie myself to the impreza world but have a couple links which should give you some information
http://www.catherineandken.co.uk/sti/index.html
http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm
the sidc has more complete info but both interesting, i dont know if this will cover what you need, you can get workshop manuals on ebay on cd or normal book.
Hows perth ? i work over there from time to time, just love it, nice and peaceful and plenty space to play.
hope this helps

perth is great....sort of...Absolutely awesome weather, great beaches, heaps of room and everyone has a seriously laid back "she'll be right mate' type of attitude. On the downside it is pretty dull. I have been lucky enough to do a fair bit of travelling and the nightlife here (for a single 25yr old) is crap compared to nearly anywhere else in the world.
I am coming over your way for the Rolling Stones gig on August 22 at wembley stadium. Should be a heap of fun
