i have been reading in other places that it might be wise to get the car undersealed as imports tend not be very well sealed, is this accurate ? and is it a big job ?

I'm having mine done when the weather gets better.
It's a tad rusty underneath in places. A thorough cleaning then Waxoyled I think.

think i am gonna look into getting it done as i am in a costal area so plenty salt kicking around and there is loads of salt on roads at moment with snow
I'm getting my RA undersealed as part of current package of work. No point in having a 450BHP motor that's rusty and fails an MOT cos the subframe is like tissue paper.
If I remember I was quoted 100 quid to clean underneath and seal (via a local garage my specialist uses).

I'm interested too.
Anyone have any idea how big a job it is?

A wee garage in the middle of nowhere in the countryside is who my specialist uses I think. I'm going to be speaking to him this week about my new engine so will ask.
