Hi

I've had a MY95 WRX RA for about two and a half years and have gradually been modifying it over time.

Was wondering what modifications other people have carried out to early RAs and what power outputs can be achieved?

Hi,
I've got a 94 model RA and i've done the following and it is plenty for me...well for now anyway :D

Full decat
Blitz Nur Spec
4 pots with grooved and drilled discs - absolutely needed on classics!
Steve Simpson ALS ecu

Very smooth runner and goes like a bullet...

Have fun....

cool cool.

So far I've added an HKS induction kit, STI mudflaps (the real ones which go right round under the front arches, not cheap ebay immitations), morettes, V6 grille, STI foglight covers. Not too bothered about how the car looks (hence no STI V5 spoiler, lowering springs, 17" alloys), more concerned with the performance (hence why I bought an RA).

Exhaust system has upgraded equal length front headers, uppipe downpipe (decat) and is fully ported. Fuelling supplied by an upgraded fuel pump and upgraded fuel rail + stabiliser.

Next month I'm getting an Apexi ECU, 550cc injectors, a racing clutch and AVCr boost controller. Probably also get a metal head gasket, upgraded lighweight forged pistons, bottom end bearings and upgraded oil pump.

If finances allow I'll get a FMIC as well.

My local specialist tells me it'll put a smile on my face :D

Sounds good!

The RA is definitely the one to have. I'm leaving the exterior apart from wheels that is, and concentrate on the performance side.

Anyway, enjoy yourself and maybe see you around
