Looking for cost effective mods for a 00 sti6 RA, and being new to scooby's not sure where to start looking as so many people seem to be offering so many different products/turbo's/ECU's etc. I don't want to split the block etc.

Not interested in back boxes etc as will all be custom made from the downpipe etc.

The Cat is already off as is the aircon pump.

any recommendations on uprated ECU's?I’ve heard Prodrive mentioned lots. What kind of bhp/torque difference is this likely to make and does it alter the optimum revs by much?

What are the most reliable aftermarket turbo’s? the Sti already has an uprated turbo from a standard WRX but not sure where to go from here?

Are bigger CC fuel injectors and fuel pump recommended or an essential add on with aftermarket ECU’s etc?

any obvious other 'add-ons' I'm missing?

thanks for your advice, Al :)

you dont want engine mods per se, but bolt ons I guess.
try:
Apexi powerFC ecu + commander unit
Apexi AVC-R boost controller
TD05/18g turbo
Hayward and Scott 3" open neck decat downpipe
Revolution 3" decat cat back system
GT spec gen2 tubular headers and up pipe
Hybrid front mounted intercooler
SX fuel pressure regulator
JECS 550cc injectors
parallel fuel rail
breather mod
earth mod

should see you right for a blisteringly quick road car and with careful mapping you can have peak torque at just under 4000 rpms held across the whole range 8)

WOW thats a big reply thanks. Being new to scoobies TBH I have no idea about most of them but can now go and do a search for them on the web so thankyou. Once its running think will go and see Scoobyclinic in chesterfield too, see what they can offer.
Thanks muchly! :)
