Who has actually done a brembo upgrade on a version 3 sti RA ? whats involved.

I assume you mean STI V7+ take offs

front are easy, bolts on
but the rear ones is where the problem starts as you either have to upgrade to R180 or get a custom mounting bracket for the caliper

Yeah you pretty much confirmed what I knew already , was dreaming of a miracle cure for the rear fitment.

i have one on mine. 2 issues-

r180 rear diff is only common ly avail in 3.9 (and 4.44 if u get a gc8 one)

thats cool if u have a ver2 sti-RA, or a ver 3/4/5/6 RA, but if u have a wrx-ra with 4.11 or any other 4.11 then you are kinda screwed.

i have GDB rear axels + hubs all 4 corners on my ver2 RA. hes a happy guy
