Hi matey.
You will not be able to upgrade to four pot calipers unless you change your wheels - I tried & they will not fit.
If you go to MY98 wheels - the five spoke angled types, you will be able to fit the four pots which were standard on the later MYs.
The four pots are far better & you will definately feel the benefit.

You don't need to change the wheel size matey, just the type.
The later STi wheels have a "knuckle" in the middle of the spoke to clear the four pots.
I had them on my other car here http://www.type-ra.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9
You can also get them from later UK turbos but they would be silver.
They'd be cheap as on eBay.
