Size of stock exchaust system RA STI3?

Hi!

Does anyone know what size the stock exhaust system is for an RA STI3? 3"? 2"? And also, how many cats are fitted to it?

Almost right jodie, you should also have a cat in the centre pipe too.

Are these cats full-flow, or would I gain something from changing to a 3" exhaust with either no cats or full-flow cats?

I would say change to 3" thru pipe with no cats if you can guarantee to pass the Stockholm version of our MOT. You'll always get more by removing the cat rather than putting a sports cat on

I don't think I'll pass the MOT without the cats, and as I can't be arsed to change the exhaust every year, I'll probably fit a 3" inch one with a sports cat.

It's finally registered here in Sweden though, just waiting for the plates (and the snow)! :lol:
