Hey all, please help me out, what clutches do you guy's have and how does it perform, how easy is it to use in daily use and does it hold together with the occasionl track/street/drag abuse. I got a Tial wastegate fitted a few months back and the standard spring was only allowing 12psi so i added another spring (only last week) to run 18 psi and thats when the clutch started struggling with the slight increase in hp, i can still boost just not up to 18psi, it's notchy as and now starting to engage at the top of the pedal travel, oh and slips when you hit full boost in 3rd 4th and 5th.

Went in to B'n'T today thinking i'll be 10 mins, go in ask for a heavy duty clutch and walk out sweet as......nah not that simple lol all technical for me, every one i know go on about the ceramic units, but then i hear today it's harsh and wears out quicker if you use frequently in stop go traffic.

So yea what clutch kits do you guy's recommend/use?

I run an Exedy uprated clutch and lightweight flywheel. Much better than the standard OE one, very light to use. I'm led to believe that Exedy supply Subaru with OE clutches.

API(Uk company) rate them to around 400/400 I think and offer 12 months cover if it fails. I bought mine off them.

I have had it in for around 15 months with no probs. Only gets used on the road with no heavy traffic light starts or 1/4 mile stuff but they will stand hard use.

Mine runs approx 1.4 bar of boost and around 330BHP/300ish Torque
