I thought the MY95 STi RA had a 3.9:1 final drive?

I could be wrong, could be 3.9, in fact I think it changed again in august 95 to 3.545

Is there a typo between the MY 95 and 96 STi specs.
94 STi Type RA says 235 lb-ft of torque and 95 is 253 lb-ft of torque.

If it's not a typo what is the difference between the two that accounts for such a difference in torque?

Also is there an improvement in suspension between WRX Type RA I (non STi) and Type RA STi I?
