Hi
I am having the following work done on my car http://clubsub.org.nz/forums/Smileys/sarcasmics/grin.gif (next week) I was advised to take the following route instead of the way I was planning to go what is your opnions on this and is the price good or too expensive?
OK then I was going to go for an apexi avcr and increas boost that way. downpipe, induction kit but was advised against it, so instead:
Downpipe being fitted, and heat wrapped
ALready has FGK exhaust system
Fuel pump 4 litres a minute capacity (or what ever double the standard is)
New ECU (link), with boost increase, which also allows adjustment of ignition, timimng, afm replaced with map sensor etc
Possible change of spark plugs if needed, plus as much time on the dyno as neede to set this up.
This is costing 1.4k?
What are your opinions on this route of modification?
I will be further modding the car (possible bigger injectors, turbo, forged pistons flywheel, bettter wastegate)but this won't be for a while.
