Version 6 STi Type RA WRC Limited

uhhh, i guess i'm the only one on here with one?
there were 2000 made, i have #502.

As far as i know, the differences between this and a normal '99 RA are:
1) i have ABS
2) car came with some Rays wheels that are similar to TE37's
3) car has blue interior trim and seats
4) car has full-on sound deadening material like a normal STi. Don't RA's not have this, or have less of it?

Tbh, there are a few of these on here, and as far asi know they don`t come with ABS:confused:. I could of course be wrong. I drive a Version 5 STi RA Ltd which is almost identical apart from the blue dash surround, rear wing is slightly different and only 1000 being made.　It has no ABS either.

If you ever make it to 関東, we`ll have to have a mini RA meet.

EDIT;
Just checked brochure. No ABS on the V6 Ltd STi RA. Sure your car has it?

The non sti version will have ABS..

I don't quite understand the ABS thing myself... i have ABS fuses, but i don't beleive there to be a big stupid ABS module under the hood... my buddy Nate, who knows his subarus, looked under my hood and was like "yup, ABS"- and at the time i was driving on crap brakes and good tires- so i couldn't lock them up if i tried.

I've since fixed the brakes and pulled the ABS fuse, so it doesn't matter anyways haha.

and what do you mean the ABS won't work w/ DCCD? The GDB STi's come with "Sport ABS" and certainly have DCCD.

The ABS unit is situated behind the o/s headlight......

Sorry should have been more accurate...the DCCD is not compatible with pre 2001 cars...ie the classic range.

Subaru could not get the ABS system to work with DCCD until V8.

All models fitted with DCCD up to and including 2002 RA and RA spec C have NO ABS.

Two choices, yours is either fitted with ABS but no DCCD, or the other way around...

ok cool- i have confirmed that i DO NOT have ABS of any sort haha.
question though: why do i have two fuses in my fusebox labelled w/ "ABS" and some other katakana characters?

replaced the coolant lines this weekend with silicone Samco knockoffs, looks real nice under the hood :)

the white grill bit in the bumper under the front indicator, did you buy them or spray them yourself? they look good just ordered the indicators and going to spray the orange grill bits white I think.

These cars look amazing. I'm just getting a Version 1 Type RA because that's the newest our government in Canada will allow but I may repaint and hope no one would be offended I chose this color :)

Could anyone provide the paint code for these cars?

As for the colour code, it is 74F and the colour is Sonic Blue Mica. It's a great colour (the best in fact;)) an i for one certainly won't be offended.

I got one from Japan at the start of the year 0632/2000
in mint condition with all the sti gear ie mudflaps, biplane wing,
Rays wheels, ect.
Very happy with it, keeping it as mint no mods
Had a V5 of these see V5 post I just posted.
Have a RA Ltd on the way here to modify for motorsport
Very interesting to see where these cars end up

i painted mine blue looks good i think, but that white is also good, it goes with day rims.

I just took the oringinal orange ones out and gave them four coats of white spray and three coats of lacure!
