I got my scooby back in 2006 and after few months trashing it round track and the 'Ring I blew the engine.

Next I sold it on to a mate who intended to rebuild the engine - but he never got round to it so I've brought it back off him!!

So last weekend I dragged it back to my workshop...

So what spec shall I go for?!

id surgest around 400 to 420

id carry on with the engine like you are with shells rods pistons ex. with standard heads the engine will be capable of 500 to 600 depending on consisting mods.

however. if for the moment you stay at 400 then your gearbox will be able to handle it with an uprated clutch.

if you want more then gearbox n diff 6 speed around 2.5k
twin plate clutch around 1k
uprated rear driveshafts £200 each
big turbo ex. bigger grakes.


with an fp green of an andy forest 20g ull make 400 easily with very fast spoolup and all your running gear should be ok.
