Saturday 17th May:
Gareth 1st in Class (WRX RA) and Andrew 2nd in Class (1996 STi)
Very wet on Saturday - glad I was at home.
Sunday 18th May
Andrew 1st in Class (1996 STi) and Me 2nd in Class (1995 STi RA)
Good class with a 924S, Datsun 260Z, Sierra Cosworth and the like.

Nice and dry, but a bit chilly.
Great result at the weekend, with a personal best time of 61.06 seconds in practice.
After my first visit in 2003 where I ran 85 seconds (which felt mighty quick ;)) I am sure I can squeeze 60 seconds out of the car.
Had a minor “off” on the second timed run, no damage done but annoying all the same, as I made the same mistake on the same corner at the Easter 2007 event (brain fade combined with over ambitious approach speed).
Andrew pipped me for first place on the timed runs – I missed a gear-change which lost time (damn!).
Therefore achieved second in class for the over 2000cc road-going production class and maximum points for the HSA Championship (Andrew not registered for the HSA).
All in all a great 2 days motorsport and the "White Goods" class (all the Imprezas are white) did the marque PROUD.
