What is this car?

i found this car at the back of a car garage near me, its pretty unloved, however first thoughts kinda suggested it might be somthing special. heres some pics. its defo and import, and its got a turbo. and is a 2.0.

couple of things that possible mean its an ra, im a total noob with this, im an audi man myself.

its got a nardi steeringwheel, and a little badge on the back with ra, its also got the wrx interior, and silver type pedals. ive got a few details on it here, im in the trade myself so ive done an hpi on it, but it didnt bring back much.

o its a 1995 as well. no red top engine.

humm i think ive answered my own question, i reks its just a wrx. due to the aerial posistioning.

maby i should have researched more before posting lol, i dont even think its a wrx, i might even just be a 2.0turbo. such a shame thought id found a diamond there. o well the search continues.

hmm a tough one from the pics, WRX`s come with a rear wiper fitted, this dosent have one, i know on my UK turbo the ariel is fitted to the A pillar, its mounted on the boot here, so i dunno?

its got a rear wiper, but its half in the boot. the body works mint on it, its just filthy, and the inteior shot to bits.

It is a WRX.

UK cars NEVER had rear screen wiper.

UK cars only ever had the aerial on the "A" pillar.

This has got an aftermarket rear fog fitted, UK car already had one in the cluster so this would not have been needed.

White door handles and mirrors, OK these could have been retro painted but UK cars did not have painted handles and mirrors.

GC8-031477.............this is a JDM chassis number, UK numbers were 3 x longer and did not start with GC8.

Definitely is not a RA though

How much is the asking price ?

Complete interiors are pretty easy to get hold of for just a few hundred £.

well the guy at the garage didnt really know anything about it. he had it up for 2250, but i wouldnt pay that for it, simply because it needs a bit of work doing to it. tidying up work really. basically i want a car purely for track/shows, im going to the ring in july, and i cant take my company car lol, so im looking for somthing relavitvley cheap to track spec. simply because if i bin it, i dont want to be massivly out of pocket lol

Personally I do not think it is too bad, even the interior, things like the gear stick gaiter are common problems and are an easy fix.
