Hi Guys
I am looking for some suggestions for alternative turbo's for my MY06 Spec C Type RA. I find that I am unable to hold boost towards the top of the rev range and am considering some sort of bolt on replacement to be able to hold boost a bit higher up in the rev range.
I was considering an HKS GT2835 but after speaking to a few people found out that they have been very unreliable in SA, two were imported and both of them blew with bearing issues.
Anybody got any other suggestions?
Thanks

Hi Gus
Thanks for the suggestions, that sounds about right.
I assume you changed the the compressor wheel?
What did you change it too?
Also, did your bottom end suffer a lot?
Have you got a before and after dyno?
Any idea what the RA-R has on it, is it the same turbo as the RA?

John I have just picked up this thread the reason I changed to a hybrid garrett cored twinscroll was due to what I said earlier its the next one up from what Shaun on scoobynet had on his before he went cosworth 2.5 it spools up about 100+200 revs later than the normal vf36 no lag and runs cleanly right to 8,000.Im away this weekend and will post up the graphs. On 98 ron v power before it was running 360 bhp after with the new turbo on its running 415 bhp/398 ft
