Hey everyone, first post! HI.... Need a bit of help.

IM currently looking at a import from a company and wondered if anyone can help me..

the spec says,

2001 SUBARU IMPREZA 2.0 WRX STi 7 V7 Type RA LTD JDM Model

I understand the sti 7, and JDM but what does the RA LTD mean?

The car has done 60,000 miles and its up for 8,995 Also in advert (Very Rare 2.0 WRX STi Version 7 Type-RA V -LTD 320 Bhp Model)
Are they hard to come by and is the 320 BHP standard on these imports?

Any help on things to look out for would be a great help..

Cheers all..

The 2001 model should be a Type RA not a Limited or V Limited & will be 280 bhp standard. If you have pictures it will help. Cheers

Id say that was a Prodrive Style STi. Everything is colorcoded & it has the high level spoiler & roof vent. The guages should should be blue with red pointers too. The side skirts are correct for the Prodrive style too.

That said the front bumper & grill are std on the Prodrive one they were different. But Im sure its not an RA. That year the RA was white only, then they changed to the Spec C Type RA.

Cheers

thanks for imput, so if its not the RA they are saying it is, is it worth that price?

What sort of speed differences are between them, is one cheaper to insure?

SOrry for the million and one questions, apprciate all answers! :)

Craig,

We are off over there next week - it's about 1/2 hours drive from me.

Drop me a note & I'll see when we are over.

I would say it is a prodrive but some one swap the prodrive front bumper with a normal STI's one. engine is exactly the same as normal STI. Not as 320hp

I saw this last week & it is a Prodrive edition with the STi front bumper.

Seemed quite tidy too & was actually a nice car.
