Hi - have had my 03 Spec C for about a year and a half. Typical story - started with a WRX, got a JDM Sti then had to go faster!

It is great, but the white paint is hard to really make shine.....any product suggestions? I am currently using Meguiar's which is pretty good.

Other than that - great machine!

i know what you mean with the white. :D

theres loads of great products out there try alex:cheers: at this link http://www.seriousperformance.co.uk give him a ring or post a thread in the car care section on here:cheers:

all your needs will be answered !!

ive had my ra since november last year and im only just gettting it to decent state of gloss/shine ,personally i dont think you can get that look in one appilcation, unless using a machine polish/paint correction etc,
ive just finished up using all my old products and are getting ready to place an order with alex!
my old products included:autoglym super resin polish, autoglym extra gloss protection, auto glym tyre dressing, and vinyl care, also Meguiar's clay and quick detailer ,and a bit of rubbing compound on the tough stuff,

Also see this thread http://www.type-ra.co.uk/vB/showthread.php?p=36277#post36277

Hi Andy,

Sorry to come in a bit late on this....

If the car's never been clayed or even paint cleansed, start with that... Get as much road grime etc off the paint without using a mechanical abrasive (polish) first and foremost.

This sort of prep makes a big difference and makes the wax / sealant your using look, feel and last better. The paint will also have that 'glass smooth' feel so will stop further road grime build up as well.

Hope that helps :).

Cheers.
Alex.

hi i have a white spec c.

i have a small bit of rust on my roof from a little dink, nasty man.

will it be easy to fix?

i know there is stone chips removal places... would these be able to help?

and with the spec c having thinner metalwork, is that an issue at all?

thanks!!
