Ha Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa mate i was indeed, i`m just replying as you speak
and OMG isn't that just beautiful
Had the version after that a white H reg, one of the last.
Turbo Systems tuned 195 bhp remap, plus 4 inch Mongoose, K&N cone, dump valve, took her to over 200 bhp, adjustable Koni, Black Diamond grilled and grooved with Kevlar pads and i loved it the sound the look the interior everything but i did not like the 5 gearboxs i went through in 2 years
Ahhhhhhhh yes the torque steer ,it was fantastic and really enjoyable i felt, it was like a fight with the car.

£20k?
Er, no, is all I can say. There is a lad I went to school with in Stafford who has an H plate one, never been a fan meself. Now a MkII, or the later cosworth with the mahoosive rear wing and maybe I'd think about it. But not instead of the RA, maybe as well as lol

no Dan ,
i will never sell the RA:cheers:
i am looking for one for the wife for work so yes it will be the second car ie :cheers:asda trips etc :loll:
there not so fun standard but anything above 180bhp becomes fun in an rs imo apart from the boxes as pshyco says:(
i did 2 in as many months once........

Reminds me of a car I saw for sale at a Doncaster Specialist Car Dealers, Danum Auto`s I thjink it was called.
Was a delivery milage only Opel Manta GTe Exclusive Coupe.. Had a price tag of £25,000.
Also, when I worked at Charlesworths back in 1988, a Ford Main Dealer in Doncaster, they had a compound and large lock up which had unregistered fords from all models from as far back as Mk1 Escorts.. Which included MK3 RS Turbo`s... The claim that the one on ebay is 2nd lowest milage is probably untrue as I`m sure quite a few Ford dealerships will have kept quite a few cars they knew would be future classics hidden away unregistered in lock ups

Ooh, now that's spooky. We probably know each other. Do you know Kevin Green, by any chance ? He's my dad's best mate, and the three of us used to shell cars for fun on Saturday afternoons in our driveway/garage. I think we did six Fords over the years, and all the new parts came from Charlesworth's. Of course, I was just a snot nosed teenager at the time.
The nicest one we did was this Scorpio 2.9L (we did a 2.8L one a few years before this one)...

Sadly, I don't have any before pics, but it arrived looking much sorrier than this Astra GTE, which was the only non-Ford we ever did...

Sorry for the quality of the pictures, but they were scanned last year from 20yr old negatives I found when rummaging through a box.
